In the yoga therapy session, student and teacher collaborate to address and heal individual imbalances that tend to go overlooked in larger classes.


Yoga therapy unites the knowledge of science with the wisdom of yoga by tailoring a practice to your particular needs, which often go unaddressed in a group yoga class.   

In the yoga therapy session, you are an active participant in your own healing.  The sessions will introduce new, healthy patterns that you can integrate into your practice on and off the mat.    

The sessions offer posture assessment and correction, with the belief that through proper alignment, the body will work most efficiently and begin to heal on its own.

Michal’s passion to explore the intersections of health, education and creativity infuses her work. As an experienced educator and dynamic facilitator (animator), Michal enjoys collaborating with students to create an optimal learning environment. 
Michal has trained in Vinyasa and Yin yoga styles at Wake Up Yoga in Philadelphia, as well as Therapeutics with Carina Raisman in Montreal at Yoga Re:Source. In addition to healing her own lower back pain, she has worked with students experiencing symptoms of scoliosis, anxiety, depression, fallen arches, and breathing issues.
